WorldGeek
Editorial Policy
WorldGeek operates on four editorial rules. They are simple, and we hold ourselves to them on every article.
The Four Rules
Rule 1 — Source every claim
Every fact-based statement links to a verifiable source: studio announcements, official social accounts, manufacturer spec sheets, named interview subjects, or peer-reviewed analysis. If we can’t source it, we don’t state it as fact.
Rule 2 — Real authors only
Every WorldGeek article carries a named human byline with a photo and bio. No pseudonyms, no ‘admin’ bylines, and no AI-generated body prose. AI tools may assist with research or outlining — never with the writing itself.
Rule 3 — Sponsored is segregated
Paid placements, when they occur, are clearly labeled ‘SPONSORED’ and visually separated from editorial. We never publish paid coverage disguised as editorial. Affiliate links are disclosed above the article body.
Rule 4 — Correct or remove
When we make an error, we fix it and log it publicly at our corrections page.
Our AI policy
WorldGeek does not publish AI-written articles. We may use AI tools to summarize research or check our work, but the words you read are written and edited by named humans.
